Buttercup Cottage, Burgham....gem of a cottage
Feel very fortunate to have found this gem of a cottage in such a beautiful part of the country. The cottage itself was just perfect for us, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented - and a great base to explore the wider area....Had some great days out at Holy Island, and Cragside is stunning. The kids also enjoyed the zoo and of course the beaches
Highlight? - Fish and Chips on Amble harbour.

Second visit to Kate's Cabin, Northumberland...
This is our second visit to Kate's Cabin, having been last summer and enjoyed it just as much. A great base to explore the area. We had a lovely meal at The Village Inn in Morpeth as well as the Crazy Horse on site. During our stay we enjoyed The Alnwick Gardens, Bamburgh beach and a visit to Barter Books in Alnwick is a must if you are a book lover.
The cabin is so cosy and provides everything needed for a lovely stay. Thank you!

Kate's Cabin was a real joy !
The log cabin was just what we were looking for, it felt like we were in another country. The cabin was really cosy - relaxing on the balcony after exploring the coast. Kate's Cabin was a real joy to spend a week in.
Loads to do in Northumberland, over 60 miles of coastal paths with stunning views and beaches. We spent more time at Alnmouth beach as you can park right next to it and walk or cycle or simply sit and watch the sunset! Guest from Bradford

We have just returned from a 2 week stay in Rick & Kate’s wonderful villa. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Spacious, clean, comfortable and welcoming. Rick was so helpful whenever I had a question. We would absolutely love to go back and would most certainly recommend this lovely villa to anyone thinking of going. Excellent Newcastle apartment !
This is luxurious and very well appointed apartment. We really enjoyed the central location and being able to see Grey's column from the window. The service we received from the owner was excellent and efficient. We particularly enjoyed visiting the Laing Art Gallery which is round the corner from the flat and also travelling outside Newcastle on the local buses. Great for weekends away !
I've stayed in this accommodation a few times. It's really great as a Monday to Friday place if you're a contractor and need a home away from home and I have also stayed a couple of weekends in Newcastle to see life outside the office.
The location is fantastic, it's near all the bars and clubs, theatre royal, transport links and the historic Newcastle points of interest.
The manager of the property is fantastic and really accommodating.
I really can't fault the place. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely few days at Kate's Cabin. The cabin is exactly as seen in the photos - it is compact, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The site is a quiet and relaxed place from which to visit Northumberland. We had not visited the area before, and absolutely loved it, as did our 12 and 14 year olds. Highlight was definitely a night at The Kielder Observatory - we were all inspired. We paid the extra £100 to the site to have use of the hot tub right next to the cabin, which was money well spent as we used it every morning and every evening during our stay. Communication with Kate was swift, efficient and friendly. Highly recommended. Julie, August 2015

We stayed in Kate's apartment for our wedding anniversary and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Kate was warm and welcoming from the start and was always quick to respond to any queries.
The apartment is in a fantastic location to explore the city and is located close to some of the best bars and restaurants.
Kate gave clear instructions on how to access the apartment and it was very easy to find. The roof terrace was a lovely added bonus and the apartment itself was immaculate. We only stayed for the weekend but this apartment has everything you could need for a longer stay. Thanks for having us :) Rachel and David

The flat was wonderful. Very central, very modern and very comfortable. The big windows in the flat are lovely, you can see everything going on outside and the flat is very bright. Absolutely gorgeous home !
We stayed in Kate & Rick's Home for a week and wished it had been longer. The home is beautifully furnished to a very high standard and is spotless throughout. The views from the house are outstanding and we spent many a night sitting with a glass of wine on the balcony.... All in all we had a 5 star experience from start to finish and would hope to repeat this in the not too distant future ! K, Scotland.
